The show plays on nostalgia for Addams Family Fans.
Jenna Ortega plays Wednesday Addams in the Netflix teen melodrama series “Wednesday,” which led us into the lives of the Addams, which was personally a curious factor for it. The show did a great job of moving away from the family’s original vibe, “that they are a spooky, kooky family that spends their day at home.” Wednesday is the modern-day reboot, with the characters in present-day times, which is relatable.
The first four episodes are directed by Tim Burton, his first television work in nearly 40 years. It makes sense for Burton to take an interest in the show since he’s attracted to unhinged narratives.
Towards the end of the show, apart from Wednesday Addams, the family is mostly absent except in some scenes. Although, Thing, the disembodied hand, is the only family member with scenes with Wednesday Addams throughout the show. Wednesday starts with the trademark of a troubled teen getting expelled from high school and is sent to Nevermore Academy, a Vermont school for “outcasts,” where the crowd is vampires, sirens, and werewolves. This scenario is a precursor to supernatural teen sagas that emerged after the “Harry Potter” craze. Wednesday is nice with her werewolf roommate, and she wants to welcome her other pals to her adventures. Hence, she decides to investigate her psychic abilities despite the gloomy aura she chooses to project.
Despite being darker than one might anticipate from a comedy about the Addams family, the show never loses its trademark dark humor. I’m enjoying the mystery of this show and would love to see a second season.

Hadeel Alhussain follows her imagination to create everlasting works of art and designs.
Hadeel’s varied upbringing has inspired her unique design tastes. She told us she’s always wanted to create a business that bridges Western and middle eastern traditions. She said, “I wanted to create a ready-to-wear collection that emphasized beautiful tailoring and craftsmanship to meet the modern woman’s needs.” Hadeel’s philosophy is to create versatile, heirloom-grade pieces that stand the test of time by combining superior quality and skilled craftsmanship with a keen eye for purpose.
For Hadeel, as a stylist and designer, it’s crucial to make pieces that convey a message. Designing is an artistic process for her on par with painting. She begins with research and is particularly fond of amassing artifacts that might serve as sources of creative inspiration. “Sometimes it’s a picture,” she explained, “or like a poem,” “or like a texture,” or “like a color palette and a painting.” She begins by making a mood board or visual board and then goes on the hunt for materials. She said, “One of my favorite design processes is the draping technique: taking the cloth, placing it on the mannequin, and making fun shapes.”
As an artist and creative person, Hadeel often keeps her drawings with her since they help her get started when she’s blank on how to go. She finds herself constantly inspired to sketch. She acknowledged the difficulty of bringing her ideas into reality, saying, “I feel like my ideas and creativity are unlimited, but putting that into reality is challenging.”
Hadeel’s favorite piece is the “Wedding dress” since it was her first time designing a bridal dress and suit for her wedding. When asked about the sentimental worth of the piece, she responded, “I enjoyed the process of designing and researching.” She explained that she aimed for the highest level of craftsmanship possible because she wanted her wedding piece to stand out. She said, “So all the needlework, all the trimmings, and sewing was done by hand. It’s a one-of-a-kind composition that ended up being enchanted and ethereal.”
Hadeel’s brand, which features her creations, is a window into her creative process. She claimed, “I started my creative path by making art.” Art has allowed her to express herself and has become a medium by which she can use her imagination and find her unique voice. Both artistic and creative design practices provide her with a sense of freedom.

The story of Charles Cullen, a lone, cunning nurse who admitted to killing at least 29 patients and possibly as many as 400, inspired this film. He is sentenced concurrently, with no chance of parole for 397 years.
The Good Nurse represents plot twists and major trust issues from people around you. Especially looking from the perspective of the Good Nurse in the film, Amy Loughren, played by Jessica Chastain, she and Charles Cullen were very close. Mr. Cullen’s assistance with Amy’s heart issue further bonded them to one another. Therefore, Amy was taken aback when she learned that Charles Cullen was suspected of killing her patients.

Given that two detectives (Nnamdi Asomugha and Noah Emmerich) are hindered in their efforts to solve the case because hospital authorities dismiss the deaths as “unexplainable,” the film undoubtedly has a slow burn. Amy Loughren–the true hero, despite her friendship with Cullen, stepped up at that point and assisted the authorities in uncovering the truth.
When Amy and the authorities discovered that Cullen’s past employment at several hospitals matched up, they naturally wondered how Cullen had managed to get away for over 16 years while working at nine separate facilities. Why wasn’t a pattern drawn from all the incidents and fatalities? A hospital’s potential dangers are not addressed in Good Nurse.

The anticipation for a Wakanda Forever is palpable. The excitement surrounding Black Panther has only grown since its initial release. Black Panther, created by Stan Lee (story) and Jack Kirby (art) in 1966, made his first appearance in an outing with the Fantastic Four in Wakanda, home to the mysterious metal vibranium, a.k.a Wakanda’s secret sauce, which became their superpower. Still, they keep this a secret from the rest of the world by passing themselves off as a third-world country.

Wakanda, where the black panther, also known as T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), lives, is a high-tech, insanely beautiful African paradise where verdant landscapes and clear blue skies meet science fiction. After his father, T’Chaka, passes away, T’Challa becomes anointed king. Wakanda welcomes challengers with open arms, and M’Baku, chief of the rival Jabari tribe, issues a formal challenge to T’Challa during the coronation ceremony. Former love interest Nakia joins T’Challa’s mom Ramonda and sister Shuri for the coronation ceremony.
In a flashback scene, King T’Chaka travels to Oakland, California, in 1992 to see his brother N’Jobu, an undercover spy. T’Chaka accuses him of aiding Ulysses Klaue, an underworld arms dealer with a weaponized arm and his likeness, to invade Wakanda and steal vibranium. N’Jobu’s partner, Zuri, confirms that TChaka’s suspicions are true.
A Wakandan artifact made of vibranium is stolen from a museum in London by the villainous best friends Klaue and an American named Erik Stevens (aka Killmonger), played by Michal B. Jordan. Their evil doing gets the attention of the Black Panther and the good-guy C.I.A agent, Mr. Ross.
T’Challa, Okoye, and Nakia are interested in seeing Klaue, who plans to sell the artifact to a CIA operative, Everett K. Ross, in Busan, South Korea. A firefight breaks out as Klaue tries to flee. T’Challa catches him anyway and gives him to Ross to keep an eye on. Unfortunately, Killmonger launches an attack on their lair and manages to rescue Klaue. Since T’Challa is the kindest monarch ever, he doesn’t bother to go after Klaue and instead brings Ross to Wakanda, where advanced medical technology may save his life.
Killmonger takes Klaue’s body into Wakanda and displays it before the tribe elders as a sign of his power, proving that the two are not the greatest friends now. While T’Challa’s smart sister Shuri heals Ross. Zuri is confronted by T’ Challa regarding N’Jobu and the events of the 1990s. He reveals that N’Jobu intended for individuals of African heritage to use Wakanda’s technologies to overthrow their oppressors. When T’Chaka placed N’Jobu under arrest, N’Jobu turned violent and attacked Zuri, forcing T’Chaka to kill him. He instructed Zuri to say that N’Jobu had mysteriously disappeared. T’Challa is disappointed that they did not bring N’Jobu’s son, who turns out to be Killmonger, back to Wakanda.
Despite all the controversy, Killmonger’s actions in Wakanda remain unacceptable. His fear of missing out caused him to focus only on realizing his lifelong dream of becoming a monarch. Killmonger murders Zuri and then defeats T’Challa in a ritual fight, hurling him over a waterfall. Nakia, Shuri, Ramonda, and Ross look for the Jabari tribe to be rescued. To their surprise, they discovered T’Challa had been rescued and would live. Having been revitalized by Nakia’s herb, T’Challa returns to Wakanda to fight Killmonger, who is promoting his father’s agenda by dispersing vibranium over the world. During their fight at the vibranium mine, T’Challa manages to stab Killmonger.
Having an all-star black cast in Black Panther is a statement meant to inspire pride among African-American fans. To paraphrase what one man tweeted: “This is what white folks get to feel like all the time? The message is more essential than the representation, after all. The film Black Panther is inspiring because it promotes cultural diversity and the cause to shield the fictional African nation of Wakanda from the same colonialism and postcolonialism that devastated most of Africa.
