Torte and Kitchen Kreations KSA: A Unique and Delicious Duo

We spoke to Fahmi Hashani, who gave us an inside look at the cloud kitchen concept.

Torte/Kitchen Kreations KSA is a family-owned and operated bakery in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia that offers creative and high-quality pastries, cakes, bread, and other baked goods. The bakery was founded by Fahmi Hashani and his wife Roula, who is an exceptional pastry chef.

When asked about how the idea for the bakery came about, Fahmi explained, “I always wanted to own and work in a bakery or a small family restaurant/cafe. And I used to watch Cake Boss with my wife (a show about an Italian American family bakery) and tell my wife that I wish that we could have something similar. Now I might have the passion and the will, but the talent belongs to my wife, Roula.”

The couple’s passion for food and desserts led them to launch two concepts within the bakery: Kitchen Kreations and Torte. Kitchen Kreations focuses on supplying local/small coffee shops with high-quality pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and salads at reasonable costs. Meanwhile, Torte is a boutique bakery that offers a forward-thinking concept by putting creative new spins on classic pastries and desserts while preserving their original flavors.

“We wanted to develop a family-owned bakery in the traditional sense where everyone in the family works in the kitchen to bake fresh, tasty, home-baked recipes in a professional capacity. And since we are young and hip, we wanted to add our generation’s twist to our recipes and present it in a modern way while preserving its original flavors, and this is why Torte was born,” explained Fahmi.

The bakery offers various products, from creative pastries to stunningly presented cakes, viennoiseries, bread, and more. The couple has also created a special Ramadan menu with traditional Middle Eastern flavors and their unique twist, such as the Danish Kunafa, a traditional Danish pastry filled with Cream Kunafa to give it a Middle Eastern flavor.

Torte officially launched on the first day of Ramadan, and customers can order through The Chefz App. The bakery will also be available through Hunger Station, Jahez, and Shagrdy.

“Our vision is to become a renowned bakery that inspires the community through the quality of our products and exceptional customer service. We aim to become a one-stop shop for coffee shops and restaurants in the eastern region and spread across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We also aim to open Torte physically across the kingdom and the region to spread our flavors and love everywhere,” Fahmi shared.
