In a significant move towards enhancing local education, the University of Business and Technology (UBT) has partnered with Eduindustry, an initiative by Global Shapers Jeddah Hub. The collaborative effort aims to support high school students in achieving their professional aspirations by providing valuable educational opportunities.
UBT’s enthusiastic participation in this initiative highlights its commitment to actively contribute to the growth and development of local students. To kickstart this collaboration, an entrepreneurship workshop was organized on the UBT campus, led by Hassan Qadi, Vice Curator of the Global Shapers community in Jeddah, and Asmaa Shams, an MBA student at UBT. Approximately 60 students from schools such as ‘My Little House,’ ‘House of Knowledge,’ and ‘Duwhat Aljazira School’ attended the workshop.
Eduindustry, as part of Global Shapers Jeddah Hub, seeks partnerships with institutions and companies to provide practical training opportunities for students. These efforts are designed to enhance students’ understanding of the job market and equip them with essential skills for future success.
The partnership between UBT and Eduindustry reflects the university’s dedication to supporting educational initiatives and providing valuable opportunities for students. It focuses on the important role of the university in supporting Eduindustry, a Global Shapers initiative in Jeddah, to achieve its objectives in empowering students within the local community.
As UBT and Eduindustry work hand in hand, the collaboration is set to create a positive impact on the educational landscape, fostering a supportive environment for students to thrive in their academic and professional journeys. This partnership marks a step forward in strengthening the ties between educational institutions and community-driven initiatives, contributing to the development of local youth.
