Spotify and BeReal have announced their groundbreaking integration, now available to users in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Spotify’s collaboration allows BeReal users to showcase their music preferences from Spotify, adding a new layer of authenticity and connection to their BeReal moments. Here’s a simple guide to getting started:
- Connect your Spotify and BeReal accounts: To link your accounts, there are two options. Eligible users can tap on the music icon before posting on BeReal. Alternatively, within the BeReal app, go to “Settings,” then “Music,” and follow the prompts to connect to Spotify.
- Once your accounts are connected, the song or podcast you listen to on Spotify will automatically be added to your BeReal post. The cover art of the audio will be displayed at the bottom of the camera lens.
- Explore your BeReal feed: Discover what your friends are listening to and enjoy a preview of the shared content.
This integration aims to bring Spotify to more people, enabling fans, artists, and communities to connect through audio in new and exciting ways. Both Android and iOS users of BeReal and Spotify can access this experience as it rolls out.
The integration is now live in Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, UAE, Iraq, and Libya.
