Konoz, an initiative by the Saudi Ministry of Media’s Center for Government Communication, proudly presents its latest documentary, “Horizon.” In collaboration with the National Center for Wildlife, this captivating film, now available on Netflix, aims to focus on Saudi Arabia’s diverse species, distinctive landscapes, and conservation efforts.
The documentary highlights the Kingdom’s commitment to environmental stewardship, dives into the richness of Saudi Arabia’s biodiversity. Minister of Media, Mr. Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, emphasizes that “Horizon” unveils the secrets of the Kingdom’s wildlife, offering a visual journey through various habitats, including plains, mountains, valleys, and the expansive sea.
“Horizon” introduces viewers to over 10,000 species, each making unique adaptations to thrive in their specific environments. From dugongs and dolphins to Arabian leopards, deer, and oryx species, the documentary provides insights into the Kingdom’s ecological balance.
Taking on a visual journey across marine ecosystems, mountains, deserts, and the coexistence between humans and nature, “Horizon” forecasts the Kingdom’s environmental wealth in the future.
