LPM Restaurant & Café in Riyadh, inspired by the French Riviera, unveils an exclusive dessert for Valentine’s Day, the Tarte Tropézienne à la Fleur d’Oranger. This limited edition treat is a contemporary twist on the beloved French Riviera delight, the Tarte Tropézienne, originally inspired by the iconic Brigitte Bardot.
Brigitte Bardot, the symbol of devotion in the 1960s, famously sang iconic love song ‘Je t’aime… Moi non plus.’ This sets the perfect scene for the Valentine’s special dessert, bringing about the glamour of St Tropez, where Bardot discovered the Tarte Tropézienne while filming ‘And God Created Woman,’ giving the pastry its name.
Crafted by pastry chef Alexandre Mika, the Tarte Tropézienne consists of a light brioche sliced in half, filled with orange blossom and vanilla creme, adorned with pearl sugar. A symbol of the French Riviera, this dessert has achieved worldwide acclaim.
Available globally at LPM Restaurant & Bar from February 14th to 29th, the Tarte Tropézienne à la Fleur d’Oranger features a buttery brioche filled with Orange Blossom Diplomat Cream, topped with a Craquelin and Pink Pralines. Complementing this exclusive treat is the Rosé Champagne Colada mocktail, specially crafted for Valentine’s Day, offering a blend of pineapple and nutty flavors.
LPM Restaurant & Café, bringing a touch of Côte d’Azur to Riyadh, offers a seasonal menu with signature dishes like Escargots de Bourgogne and Crevettes Tiedes à L’Huile D’Olive. The restaurant’s Belle Époque-influenced interiors set the stage for a romantic evening or a vibrant night out with friends.
