Al Areen Wildlife Park & Reserve is one of the coolest places in Bahrain to spend your weekend. The park has tons of animals to see from the wild, including lions, leopards and zebras – to cutesy farm animals that the kids can even pet like goats and ponies.

They even have a huge population of wild and water birds so expect to be walking around with ducks and flamingoes while parrots squawk right in your ears.

Apart from that, Al Areen is a beautiful spot to just sit and relax amidst the waterfalls and lakes and enjoy a little picnic in the outdoors.
