Marriage is a beautiful stage of life, but like all good things, it takes dedication and active involvement to keep it light, healthy, and jolly.

This is best done by sharing activities. Now that the weather is nice again, go out and do stuff together! But what can you do? Here’s a nifty little list to spark some inspiration. Let’s get romantic!

Take in the sunset

Walk around the old town or by the Cornich. Find higher ground, or just choose a quiet spot to soak in the sunset together. While you’re at it, pack some food and turn it into a simple sunset picnic.

Do some stargazing

Get a book on constellations, aim your telescope at the stars, and see how many you can pick out. You can download stargazing apps to help you see constellations and learn more about the galaxy you are peering at. Sky View or Star Chart will do the trick. Get a Telescope from Souq.com.

Set a cooking night

Make your favorite dishes together. Work as a team on a brand new recipe. Epicurious is a brilliant app that’ll help you get the most of the ingredients in your home.

Visit museums or art galleries

Bait al Balad, Al Tayabat Museum, the Jeddah Science and Technology museums are only some of the many museums in Jeddah one can enjoy. A quick Google search can help as well. Not to mention the many art galleries you can spend the day visiting to absorb the creative spirit of Saudi and regional artists. Visit the Aquarium –they aren’t just for schoolchildren, they’re also a great place for a date. Take a leisurely stroll while you survey the sea life.

Learn a new activity together

Take a dance or photography class. Use the Bounden app made by the Netherlands Ballet Society to learn how to dance together!

Challenge each other in video games.

It’s a lot more enjoyable to challenge someone live than playing solo. Don’t be afraid to choose some battling grounds. After all, it might be a healthy way to settle to arguments you might have had in real life. (By the way, this is a joke). But still, it’s all about having fun. Sometimes it’s fun to have a co-pilot, like in “Rain” or “The Last of Us”.

Reawaken your inner child

Go to a toy store like Toy’s R Us to pick up a few goodies. Try a Frisbee or a kite or water guns for some outdoor fun. Heck you could even go bowling, it’s not just for children after all.

Reignite the traditional game night

This is how people used have fun before everything turned digital. Pick up a deck of cards and a board game for an indoor date.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to have a good time. Try a play date instead.

Run a movie marathon

You each pick a couple of movies of your choice, (no arguments,) and cozy up on the couch with snacks and the remote.

Work out together!

Find exercises that you can do together, like couples yoga or team interval training. If you don’t know how to go about it, you can watch some youtube videos and follow the lead, or use the app called Seconds to design a circuit.

I’m sorry, this is one of the most useless articles I’ve ever read. There is absolutely no added value, no new information, and your content does not even adhere to the title. Kindly tell us what couples can do OUTSIDE of their home that isn’t as useless as star gazing, or other forms of staring.
