Dedicated to inspiring, connecting, and empowering women to unleash their best, the She’s Mercedes campaign gives us insights into balancing our personal and professional lives, and is a hub for sparking conversation, offering new perspectives, and supporting ambitions.
Initiated by Juffali Automotive Company, Al Thuraya Awards by She’s Mercedes celebrated and empowered Saudi women with a competition that highlights the accomplishments of 16 exceptional women in various fields, chosen from hundreds of nominations. Eight finalists emerged from this pool after online voting was opened to the public, and each of their success stories were shared.
In the final round, a selection through a panel of distinguished judges was made from four different categories.
Yusra Abuljadayel
Sports Excellence Category
Yusra’s passion for basketball has led her later on to become professional in it. She established a specialized Basketball Academy for women. Yusra received support at her academy through a program in collaboration with NBA. She was also chosen by the American Council to participate in the Basketball Program.
“By winning this prize, it will not be only motivation for me, but for every woman who decides to be in this field.”

Lamia Al Rumaih
Innovative Art; Design Category
Lamia’s love of photography allowed her to capture beautiful moments. Her passion led her to achieve her dream of establishing her own visual composition business, and representing Saudi Arabia in many events globally. She wrote a book called “Authentic Arabian Treasures” that showcases Saudi heritage through photographic experiences.
“I want to show the world that there’s no field that a Saudi woman can’t succeed in.”

Sarah AL Abdulkarim
Social Service Category
Sarah’s life purpose is to serve her community, so she focused on the Children’s Education field by simplifying information and using visuals in a fun way that fits the abilities of the targeted group. She also successfully developed training courses to educate parents on necessary skills to protect their children from sexual harassment.
“We must stand up, and address our issues by educating ourselves and each other.”

Nadia Al Mulhim
Entrepreneurship Category
Nadia smartly utilized her tourism experience and marketing knowledge by becoming an entrepreneur. She established the first Saudi online company specialized in Sports Tourism, becoming the first Saudi female to work in that field. Forbes recognized her as one of the best 100 Entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia.
“As Saudis, we have the necessary elements of infrastructure, environment, and national caders, which in return enable us to promote this sector, and shine in it.”
