HE Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), has announced a collaboration between “Riyadh Season” and the World Boxing Association (WBA).
Under this partnership, the “Riyadh Season” brand will be prominently featured at all WBA conferences and affiliated events as an official sponsor.
Additionally, “Riyadh Season” will be highlighted in the WBA’s newsletter, daily reports, and other promotional materials, expanding its reach to boxing enthusiasts worldwide.

About Riyadh Season
The Riyadh Season is a yearly event filled with various functions and sports events, as part of the Saudi Seasons initiative that began in 2019.
It kicks off in October and runs until March, covering the winter and spring months in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
In 2022, over 5 million people visited Riyadh Season in just the first two months of its third edition. By 2023, Riyadh Season had earned 10 Guinness World Records certifications.

The most recent Riyadh Season, under the motto ‘Riyadh Season Big Time!’, was held on October 28, 2023, featuring several preliminary matches leading up to the highly anticipated Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou main event.
