KCON is set to make its return to Riyadh on October 6th, celebrating the vibrant culture of South Korea. This marks the second edition of the Korean cultural festival in Saudi Arabia, with Boulevard Riyadh City being the chosen venue, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

The festival spans over two days and promises an array of exciting performances Attendees can look forward to a music concert featuring performances by 14 Korean bands, an enlightening cultural exhibition, and a bustling market offering a diverse range of Korean products.

KCON, originally launched in Los Angeles back in 2012, has evolved into one of the world’s most prominent Korean cultural festivals. It has successfully expanded to seven countries, drawing in over a million visitors.

This event’s presence in the Kingdom is the result of an agreement signed in June 2022 between the Saudi Ministry of Culture and CJ ENM, a Seoul-based entertainment company. It underlines the Ministry’s commitment to fostering international cultural exchange, aligning seamlessly with the aspirations of Vision 2030.
