The LY650 Luxury Yacht by Lexus is evolving into the LY680 with exciting new upgrades. From March 21st, 2024, orders will exclusively be available in Japan through Lexus Marine sales offices and select dealers.
Lexus strives to represent a luxurious lifestyle brand, and its flagship Luxury Yacht represents the Lexus design principle of “Crafted.” The LY680 follows this idea by carefully paying attention to all the details to go beyond what customers expect and provide a special experience that engages their senses, even while sailing.
The Luxury Yacht is designed to create a sense of seclusion amidst the sea, offering a space where discerning customers can relax and unwind. Its exterior reflects Lexus’ L-finesse design philosophy, while the interior is meticulously designed for comfort and functionality. Lexus prioritizes cruising performance that brings about confidence, ensuring stable maneuvering, excellent ride comfort, and a quiet environment.
The Horizon Group, known for its advanced technology in building superyachts, managed the production. By merging their building expertise with yacht production methods inspired by TPS*2, they took the opportunity to capitalize both brands’ strengths to achieve the best outcome.
The Japan International Boat Show 2024, taking place at Pacifico Yokohama from March 21st to 24th, 2024, will feature a 1/20 scale model of the LY680 for viewing.
The delivery of the LY680 is planned for spring 2026. Potential expansion of sales into other international markets will be evaluated later, depending on customer interest.
EXPANSION OF FLYBRIDGE AND SWIMMING PLATFORM PROVIDE MORE SPACE FOR ENJOYMENT AND RELAXATION
The flybridge now offers an extra 1,400mm of space, complete with a generous lounge sofa and a barbecue grill*3, providing guests with a comfortable area to unwind and savor the sea air. Furthermore, the swimming platform has been expanded by 700mm, offering ample room for various offshore activities, such as personal watercrafts, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.
