OSN, the region’s leading TV entertainment company for premium, must-see content is happy to announce the much-awaited HBO Original Drama Series “True Detective: Night Country”, will stream exclusively on OSN+ and air on OSNtv today, in parallel to the US premiere.
Since 2014, each season of HBO’s True Detective series has been structured as a self-contained narrative, employing new cast ensembles, and following various sets of characters and settings. In the upcoming season, when the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
Created by Issa López, who wrote or co-wrote most of the season and directed all six episodes, Night Country brings back familiar aspects of the first season to marry the uncomfortable intersection of true crime narrative and supernatural undertones. The latest season will also be the first instalment to feature two female leads and a cast dominated by women for the first time in the series’ history.
Ashley Rite, Vice President of Marketing at OSN, commented: “As the first major content release of 2024, we are very excited to welcome the much-awaited premiere of True Detective: Night Country to OSN+. True Detective is just one of many highly anticipated releases we are bringing to our platforms this year, with more incredible series announcements to come.”
Viewers can also catch up on the complete True Detective journey with all three seasons available on OSN+. OSN+ can be accessed through all your favourite devices, including major TV platforms, all iOS, and Android devices, and from the web. Find out more and stream now at www.osnplus.com.
