Make Your Home into a cozy warm haven with these Tips

Stylish cozy suggestions to warm up your home.

Blankets and Throws
Draping throws over sofas and chairs adds instant color as well as being on hand for snuggling up in. Mix it up with contrasting textures and show off your home style. Chunky cable knits, plush velvets, soft chenille and faux fur all work in a traditional or modern-styled home.

You Know it Makes Scents
Fill your home with the warm and comforting aromas of winter. Position scented candles in the entrance hall to create a welcoming ambience and scented diffusers in entertaining areas and bedrooms to create a relaxed feel.

See the Light
Who doesn’t like a little sparkle? Turn the lights down low and switch on fairy lights to create a little winter magic. Add ambience to a space with metal lanterns and tea light holders or create a warm glow with patterned and colored candles.

Don’t Get Cold Feet
Keep it plush underfoot by covering floors with rugs rich in color and pattern. Opt for a high pile and really give your feet something to sink into, or choose sheepskin for ultimate softness. Place sheepskin rugs bedside and treat your feet to a little luxury in the mornings when stepping out of bed.

A Cozy Hangout
Scatter cushions and beanbags to create a cozy nook to hang out in. The kids will love it for watching movies and you can curl up with a good book and a hot chocolate – cream and marshmallows on top please!

Layer Up
Add extra warmth and comfort by layering bedding and pillows. Place seasonal quilts at the bottom of beds for chilly nights and leave luxurious bathrobes and slippers in soft textures and warm colors for guests to snuggle into and make them feel at home.
