In its plan to grow, Almarai sealed five deals with top global poultry firms, totaling 500 million Saudi riyals. This move aims to boost poultry output, elevating its market share from 250 million birds yearly to 450 million  birds by 2027.

This announcement came at the start of the third Middle East Poultry Exhibition, launched by His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli. The event took place from May 13 to 15, 2024, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the theme “Value Engineering.” Over 300 companies from 40 countries worldwide joined the exhibition.

Almarai’s signing of five deals with global firms is a key step in its five-year investment plan. With an investment of 7 billion riyals, Almarai aims to boost poultry production and support local self-sufficiency goals. This initiative contributes to the national economy’s growth and aligns with Almarai’s role in realizing Vision 2030 across various sectors.

After signing the agreements, the Minister recognized Almarai as a top sponsor and visited their booth at the exhibition. There, Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Albader, Almarai’s CEO, shared insights into the company’s upcoming poultry production projects, earning praise. These projects align with Almarai’s growth strategy and its goal to boost local contributions, positioning it as a major food producer in the area.
