Can you tell us how you started BySquad Contracting and what was the inspiration behind creating this company?

With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, project management, and real estate development, initially, we conducted a feasibility study to discover a gap in the market between large and small construction companies. The exciting opportunity has encouraged me to establish a business with a high level of flexibility while still maintaining a professional approach.

The Vision 2030, has had a large impact on the Saudi market and has encouraged business growth and innovation while promoting economic diversification and creating a business-friendly environment. These changes have empowered businesses to explore new opportunities, contribute to economic growth, and play a major role in shaping the future of Saudi Arabia’s economy.

Could you share details on BySquad Contracting as a whole and what it is that you do, to those who are unfamiliar with the company?

Our firm deeply values the beauty and uniqueness of different creations, as well as the potential of architectural, structural, and MEP designs. As a team of dependable and competent engineers, we are committed to bringing your ideas to life. Our approach focuses on building successful relationships with our clients. We offer pre-construction services, including design consultation to help you develop a clear understanding of your project’s scope and expectations. We also specialize in planning, cost management, scheduling, mobilization solutions, and overall value engineering to ensure that your projects are completed on time and within budget.

Could you tell us about some of the projects you have worked on? And which ones were the most memorable?

Over the past two and a half years, we have successfully delivered more than 25 projects for a diverse range of clients. Notable among these projects were the Savola HQ renovation, covering an area of 1,400 square meters, and the Abdul Latif Jameel Finance Project, which spanned 2,500 square meters. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality results to each of our clients, and we look forward to continuing our record of success on future projects.

What were some challenges you’ve faced throughout your journey with BySquad Contracting and how did you overcome them? 

One of the major challenges that businesses face is finding individuals who understand and align with their values and culture. While this obstacle may appear difficult to overcome, our organization has established strict internal values to foster a culture of inclusivity and encourage employee participation.

In addition, it is also important to maintain a healthy cash flow in a construction company to ensure the financial stability of the business. To achieve this, we analyze our cash flow on a regular basis and take corrective action as necessary. By doing so, we can easily avoid potential issues and maintain a strong financial position.

How does BySquad Contracting prioritize and ensure client satisfaction throughout the entire project lifecycle?

At By Squad, one of our core practices involve the implementation of a professional project management methodology throughout the entire project life cycle. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that the highest level of client satisfaction is achieved, and this remains a top priority at all times. By adhering to this approach, we are able to successfully deliver projects that meet and exceed client expectations.

Looking forward, are there any specific projects that BySquad Contracting would like to take on, and what are they?

Our extensive experience in the construction industry has provided us with specialized knowledge in various sectors. At present, our primary focus is on constructing administrative offices and residential properties, in addition to retail shops, coffee houses, and restaurants. As we strive to expand our services, we look forward to catering to the needs of semi-government entities.
