Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, Community Jameel Saudi has successfully concluded the 7th edition of the StartSmart competition.

The event featured the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal, Chairman of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Bin Aboud, Director of the Ministry of Sports Branch in Makkah Region, alongside various business leaders and experts.

The concluding ceremony was organized at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit by Bab Rizq Jameel and the Lenobadir program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports. This year’s competition focused around the theme “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Entrepreneurship and the Green Economy.” The competition included four distinctive tracks: Startups, Ideas, Social Enterprise, and a newly introduced Environment track.

The StartSmart competition witnessed exceptional engagement, attracting a total of 1,010 applicants. Out of these, 60 teams advanced to the semi-final stage. In July, these teams participated in an intensive training camp, covering different essential topics ranging from strategic planning and marketing to financial management. Following this, the qualifying teams presented their projects and ideas to a judging panel, resulting in the selection of 36 teams for the final stage. Out of these, 12 outstanding teams (3 teams from each track) were chosen and rewarded with valuable prizes totaling 465,000 Saudi riyals.

In the Startups track, fanZ secured the first place, followed by Siolla in second place, and Ballurh in third place. In the Social Enterprise track, AmplifAI health claimed the first position, Bahaa Adaptive Solutions secured second place, while Ad Astr clinched third place. As for the Ideas track, Rafah AI emerged as the first-place winner, followed by Organic Waste Management in second place, and Maqarri in third place. In the newly introduced Environment track, SARsatX secured the first position, Ivvest ranked second, and TrustiT claimed the third spot.

On the sidelines of the event, Community Jameel Saudi organized a forum consisting of a conference and eight workshops. The forum featured eight expert speakers who delved into crucial trends, challenges, and opportunities within the entrepreneurial sector and the broader market landscape.
