Are you lost when it comes to becoming a better person? We have you covered! Here are five easy ways to improve yourself.

Being human is hard. We understand if you sometimes slip up in your bid to be a good person. Really, we do. That is why we’re writing this guide for you, all easy steps and no pressure. Follow our guide and become a better person, while helping to cultivate politeness in those around you.

Step One:

Say thank you. If someone opens a door for you, thank them. Showing gratitude costs you nothing and helps you gain the other person’s respect! It’s a win-win situation.

Level Up: Open the door for other people.

Step Two:

Trash goes in the bin. It’s easy to say, but how often do we listen? No one likes looking at trash in their city. Think of the future of the planet. Think of the children. What sort of example do we want to set for them?

Level Up: Should you happen upon other less decent human beings’ trash, dispose of it.

Step Three:

Park with etiquette. The handicapped have it hard enough as it is. If you aren’t handicapped, be grateful and find a non-handicapped space. Also, don’t take up two parking spaces with one vehicle. Doing so makes you look greedy.

Level Up: Hand your perfect parking space over to a family that has been looking around for a while.

Step Four:

Respect lines wherever they may form. Organized lines, whether at the mall or your local supermarket, ensure that each person is treated fairly. Also, they often allow you to buy what you need and leave much more quickly. It is when individuals don’t respect lines that people feel mistreated and are forced to wait longer than necessary.

Level Up: Allow someone with a few items to have your spot if you have a large number of items.

Step Five:

Tip well, live well. Here’s the thing; when a server goes beyond his/her duties to be helpful, he/she’s enhancing your enjoyment of a night out. A little gratuity in the way of thanks costs you almost nothing, makes a big difference to your server, and helps ensure that you and other tippers like you will enjoy good service in the future.

There you have it!
Easy, simple ways to impact the world and make it a better place. Follow these five steps, and you’re on your way to being a better person.
