If you love collecting the finest carpets, then you must head over to the Afghan Souk. This market has been standing for over half a century and is famous for having a diverse selection of elaborate carpets to choose from. This market is well known for its tight roads where you can find souvenir shops, local shops, and street food vendors all close to one another. The vendors are constantly firing up fresh tamees bread and traditional Afghani food, the smell alone will leave your mouth watering. Visit Jeddah’s fish market and watch the fisherman catch their fish even before sun rise. You can find the freshest fish local to the red sea such as sigan, najel and harid. If you go early, not only will you be able to purchase the best catch of the day, but you may even witness the fishermen coming into the market with their morning catch.

This market is considered to be a part of Yemen in the heart of Jeddah, and it is best to visit after 5pm.
