Encouraging the Importance of Early Detection.
Renowned contemporary Japanese Robatayaki restaurant, ROKA, has partnered with the Kingdom’s well-recognized non-profit organization – Zahra Breast Cancer Association in Riyadh, in support of enhancing Breast Cancer awareness and encouraging the importance of early detection.
In line with its community-driven initiatives, ROKA Riyadh will contribute 50% of the proceeds earned from sales of the specially curated mocktail, ‘Onna Musha’ (Female Warrior in Japanese) all through the month of October to the Zahra Breast Cancer Association.
“Early detection of Breast Cancer promotes a 93% survival rate in the first five years. We at ROKA Riyadh are humbled to partner with Zahra Breast Cancer Association, championing the cause and encouraging as many people as possible including our colleagues and patrons to get regular screenings” said Jean-Luc Fialon, Director of Operations – ROKA Middle East.
Established in 2007, the Zahra Breast Cancer Association was founded by Her Royal Highness Princess Haifa Al-Faisal for early detection, prevention, and treatment.
To mark the occasion the award-winning restaurant, located in Midtown-Riyadh, will host a masterclass on how to create the Onna Musha mocktail later this month, exemplifying the warrior-like strength of survivors of Breast Cancer.
