Inside the Kitchen: A Celebration of Culinary Arts

The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh brings a celebration of culinary arts to the city.


Guests visiting the festival will get to experience different ingredients and cuisines including the Turkish, Italian and Chinese as well as master the art of creating luscious chocolate while enjoying the hotel’s latest beverage menu by the Master Mixologist Naci Kusadali.

The Culinary Gentlemen joining the executive Chef Esat Akyildiz and his team bring their breadth of experience to the table, inviting visitors to learn masterful techniques from the greats: Chef Gianni Mallao, Executive Chef of Hotel Ronuzzino will be bringing over two decades of Italian cooking mastery. Guests will have the chance to taste an authentic 4-course signature Menu prepared by Chef Gianni at Azzurro restaurant, as well as learn some of his ordinary secrets through an Italian Cuisine cooking class.

The executive Chef Esat Akyildiz Chef will join Chef Okan Demir, Chef de Cuisine of Ritz Carlton Bustan Palace in Oman to bring the mastery of Turkish Cuisine to titillate your taste buds. They will be heading The Turkish cooking class at Al-Orjouan restaurant the Turkish night in Wednesday, the seafood Turkish night on Thursday.

Chef Ben Kuah is a veteran Chef who is specializing in Chinese cuisines primarily Cantonese and Sichuan will lead the Chinese cooking class at Hong restaurants as well as presenting 4-course authentic Menu that will be presented at the first time in Riyadh with unique and authentic recipes.

Executive Pastry Chef, Kemal Ozcan will sweeten the festival with special signature high tea offerings at Chorisia Lounge. With over 18 years of experience working for top luxury hotels, pastry lovers shouldn’t miss his Chocolate Master Class where he will present the secret of chocolate preparing for Chocolate lovers.

Bringing all these experiences together, guest chefs will be participating in the Grand Brunch on the weekend of April 27 – 28, where they will have their own live cooking stations from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am.

This first of its kind event will have top chefs converging in Riyadh to offer master classes and sumptuous gastronomic experiences that will satisfy the foodies of the city.
