Sara’s Corner
This women’s café gives us a local twist on the Queen Victoria cake. Originally, a Ramadan special, the Queen Hessa cake is made of date jam and local buckwheat, both popular products in Ramadan. After brainstorming on ways to make a local iconic cake, she decided to name it after King Abdul Aziz’s wife, Queen Hessa. As it turns out King Salman also has a daughter called Hessa so they now have a new addition called the Princess Hessa cake.
Venchi
Venchi has taken the chocolate experience to an ultimate organic level. A production from the best blends of aromatic cocoa called Vlanco Criollo and Amendolado Nacional cocoa, Venchi Biologico is a result of extensive research and organic extraction, fermentation and roasting methods in collaboration with the community of Kichwa, Equador. So, not only are you eating chocolate that’s good for you but also for the environment.
