The awe-inspiring Maraya in AlUla will host global musician, singer, songwriter, and multi-Grammy-award winner Alicia Keys on Friday, February 24th, 2023.  This is the second time that Keys will perform in the Kingdom at the majestic epicenter of art, culture, and history that is Maraya, a multi-purpose concert and entertainment venue. The concert and Town Hall are once again, brought to you by Good Intentions and the Royal Commission of AlUla.

On Saturday, February, 25th, Keys will be hosting “Women to Women”, for invited guests. This intimate gathering of women discusses power and purpose with the region’s female trailblazers. As the women in the Middle East continue to be mavericks of change, the second edition of Women to Women will embrace a future-forward mindset. The topics will be focused on their personal journeys, the importance of being resources to each other, benefitting from wisdom to nurture the collective, and legacy-making.

Keys is no stranger to the city after visiting, where she was captivated by the desert and the ancient civilizations who resided there. “There is no denying the beauty and history of AlUla, but there is something more. As an artist, I feel a sense of belonging and connection – with nature, with humanity, with the past and the future. I love it here, and I am excited to make magic again in AlUla.” said Keys.

15- time Grammy award-winning Keys has sold more than 90 million records and is one of the world’s best-selling music artists of all time. A classically trained pianist, she started composing songs at age 12 and secured a record deal at 15 years old. Her 2001 debut album, Songs in A Minor, was a critical and commercial success, producing her first Billboard Hot 100 number-one single “Fallin.” Entrepreneur, activist, and New York Times best-selling author, Keys is simply a creative visionary along with being a musical powerhouse.

The weekend will be a not-to-be-missed tribute to the ancient city she has come to love. The show and Town Hall will bring like-minded people together under the stars to celebrate creativity as part of the Good Intentions initiative and AlUla Moments.

Good Intentions, a global creative movement, was co-founded by Keys’s husband, producer, and creative mogul Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean and Saudi native Noor Taher. The movement creates one-of-kind, culturally driven experiences with a focus on community impact in the Kingdom.

The concert will be broadcast on the MBC TV channel and the AlUla Moments Youtube channel. Follow AlUla Moments on social media to stay updated on ticket sales dates.
