Jeddah Ballet Academy (JBA) is a unique center in the city and your child’s one stop to creativity.
For ten years, Mary Hoover dreamt of a creative, loving, wholesome and nurturing environment where children could learn classical ballet movements. She also wanted children to be able to express themselves creatively through different ways such as art, sewing and design, jewelry making and cooking. Her dream finally became a reality with the launch of JBA.
Ballet and Dance
JBA provides a well-equipped ballet studio for classical ballet, tap, Irish tap and hip-hop/fusion dance classes in addition to barre classes for adults. The instructors at JBA are former ballet dancers with degrees in dance, years of experience in their field and a passion for both dance and teaching.
Arts and Crafts
In addition to their dance classes, JBA offers a creative program where children learn to paint, sow, cook and design jewelry. The creative program begins with ballet followed by a break in which children get an organic snack and then they move on to arts and crafts where something different has been planned for each class.
The Shop
JBA also has a little shop for high quality ballet clothing made by the best dance companies in the world. At reasonable prices you can find professional ballet and pointe shoes, ballet bags, hair accessories, leotards, tights, tap shoes and tutus in every style and color.
