Undiscovered by most people, the West Sky Aviation Academy is an aviation club that was founded by Muhammad AlGarni, chief pilot and instructor in training and flying gyrocopters. His passion and love for flying gyrocopters, which are essentially airborne vehicles similar to helicopters, pushed him to launch West Sky in 2011. This academy provides opportunities for casual rides with family and friends, with each ride costing 350 riyals per person.

There’s also good news for those who want to sky diving and learn to fly gyrocopters; training courses! The 30-hour course is stretched over a span of a month, costing 800 riyals per hour. Along with gyrocopters, individuals can choose from training or riding in Microlights, Trikes, Flexwings and so much more.

Perhaps the main reason this club has attracted so much attention lately is the fact that it is open for men, women and children of all ages. It is usually during the pleasant winters of Jeddah that most people come here for this exciting and fun activity.
