Al Khozama Company and LPM Restaurant & Bar are pleased to announce that LPM Riyadh is set to open its doors on July 1st, 2021.
The award-winning restaurant will serve up its renowned French Mediterranean and Niçoise inspired cuisine to Riyadh’s sophisticated diners, bringing with it the authentic flavors and iconic glamour of the French Rivera to the heart of the Kingdom. Situated behind the acclaimed Al Faisaliah Hotel within Riyadh’s prestigious financial center, LPM’s Riyadh location represents the global institution’s sixth high profile restaurant, having previously attained widespread success in London, Dubai, Miami, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong.
The opening of LPM in Riyadh comes on the heels of its highly successful pop-up during the city’s 2019 Diriyah Season and responds to the demands of the city’s epicureans who dine at LPM on their frequent travels across the world. “The 2019 pop-up was the first time LPM was introduced in the Saudi market and the response from the diners surpassed our expectations. The warm welcome we received from Riyadh’s locals and residents solidified our ongoing plans to open a full restaurant within what is, without a doubt, one of the fastest-growing cities in the world,” comments Raphael Duntoye, Chef Patron of LPM Restaurant & Bar. “We are honored to be one of the pioneering brands to be part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision for 2030 as we strongly believe that Saudi Arabia has a bright future in every aspect,” he continues. “LPM Riyadh’s opening brings something new to the Kingdom this year, and it will continue to do so for years to come.”
The elegant new venue features LPM’s chic pared-back interiors reminiscent of the Cote d’Azur. Natural materials, fine linens, and marble reference the traditions of French fine dining whilst eclectic accents and Belle Époque accessories infuse a measured dose of je ne sais quoi to evoke the eccentricity of the French Riviera. The walls play host to LPM’s legendary art collection, featuring bright, whimsical artworks curated especially by Director Bob Ramchand to celebrate the unique spirit of LPM Riyadh. With its bistro-style café area and open-air terrace alongside the main dining room, the restaurant accommodates a full range of dining experiences that range from casual and alfresco options to more formal sit-down meals, making it the ideal destination for discerning diners from day tonight.
Featuring LPM’s first-ever drinks “lab”, guests in Riyadh will be able to choose from a complete menu of refreshing mocktails, expertly concocted by LPM’s in-house mixologists using natural, premium ingredients and bespoke techniques. Discover reimagined renditions of signature LPM beverages such as the Tomato-NO, Limonade Noire, and Expresso Marti-No as you enjoy the melodic rhythms of sunny jazz, bossa nova, and classic French tunes inspired by the French Riviera.
The exquisite à la carte menu showcases Chef Patron Raphael Duntoye’s passion for ingredient-led light French Mediterranean and Niçoise fare. Raphael, having previously worked as Executive Sous Chef at Sketch and Senior Sous Chef at Zuma in London, credits the legendary London-based French Chef, Pierre Koffman, with whom he worked at the three Michelin Star restaurant La Tante Claire for his impeccable culinary skills. LPM’s menu pays homage to Chef Raphael’s return to his pedigree in French cooking; playing up his reverence for fresh produce with subtlety, sureness and a light touch to create a mouth-watering mélange of flavors that effortlessly merge simplicity with sophistication.
Featuring all of LPM’s signature dishes, LPM Riyadh’s menu takes you on a delectable culinary journey of the Cote d’Azur. From favorites such as Burrata et Tomates (creamy burrata served with sweet Datterini tomatoes) and Escargots de Bourgogne (rich, meaty snails served in fresh garlic herb butter) to world-famous creations which include Côtelettes d’Agneau Vivienne (lamb cutlets with delicately smoked aubergine) and Gâteau au Fromage Frais (sumptuous vanilla cheesecake); the gastronomical offering is certain to delight even the most distinguished of connoisseurs.
With its unrivaled service, immaculate ingredients, and irresistible French charm; LPM Riyadh transforms each meal into a memorable dining experience that transports diners to the South of France.
