Hoping to catch a flight during the last few days of Ramadan? Call your airlines to verify flights at Saudi airports because cancellations are still in effect.

After national carrier Saudia extended its service interruption, low-cost carrier Flynas flight cancellations have been extended as well.

The first budget airline in the Kingdom, Flynas took to X, formerly Twitter, to confirm that service to seven destinations will remain suspended until next week.

The airline has also advised passengers flying to other destinations to check the website and confirm that the flight is still scheduled to depart before arriving at the airport.

flynas, formerly known as Nas Air, is Saudi Arabia’s first low-cost airline and has grown into one of the region’s busiest carriers. Headquartered in Riyadh, the airline operates more than 1,500 flights each week to over 70 destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa. A total of seven locations have services suspended by the budget airline until Sunday, March 15, 11.59 pm.

Flynas is encouraging travelers to check their flight status on its website before heading to the airport to stay updated on any changes. The airline says passengers will receive the latest updates through its official communication channels and reassures guests that the safety of travelers and crew remains its top priority, thanking everyone for their understanding during this time.

The Saudi Civil Defense has announced that it will be testing the National Early Warning Platform soon. The agency has also released clips on X to explain what the emergency sirens mean and what to do should you hear one.
