The Literary Girls Book Club
A female only book club that meets once every month. The club was started by friends who wanted to express their passion for books and has succeeded in inspiring and encouraging women to read. The club usually chooses a theme for every meeting, and the members are encouraged to explore various books that fall under the category. The meetings are casual yet informative and educational.
Jeddah Book Club
The meetings of this book club generally focus on talking about a particular book. The meetings are open to both men and women. Books discussed in the past meetings include The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, Divergent by Veronica Roth and The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins. The club has not been very active lately.
Toastmasters is quite famous, especially in various Universities like Effat University and Dar Al Hekma. The club has several sectors and divisions in Jeddah. The meetings are open to both genders, there is a registration fee and interested members can attend a couple of meetings. The club helps members develop their speaking skills through active participation and evaluation.

The project started in 2012, branched out from Riyadh Writing Club and its sibling in Kuwait.
