Take a chill pill with these Riyadh summer drink favorites!

1. Mojitos

A drink that is always refreshing, punchy and a one-way salsa dance to the Caribbean. For a zesty fix, head on out to decidedly artisan resto – Brick and if you’re looking for a bit of tooty fruity lovin’, have a taste of Applebee’s Strawberry mojito—complete with fresh strawberry chunks to boot.

It’s the latest Riyadh trend this summer and we’re not complaining. Whether you take it level by level or stir them into a homogenous concoction is a matter of taste.

4. Matcha Green Tea

This blend of sweetened premium matcha green tea, milk and ice with sweetened whipped cream gives you a delicious boost of energy. Quite a rarity in the city, you can spot this baby at Starbucks.

5. Bellinis and Italian Sodas

For a taste of an Italian summer, you can go wrong with a bellini or an Italian Soda. Interestingly enough, you’ll find fancy options like pineapple and lychee or ginger ones at Japanese restaurant Yokari. We have recently discovered peach bellinis at Turnstone Pizza, where they also serve a mean Strawberry Italian soda.
