Amsterdam – Fashion designer Ronald van der Kemp and Christie’s will stage an online charity auction open for bidding from 17-30 September on RVDK has kindly donated 29 unique and exceptional face-masks which will be offered without reserve and the auction revenue will be donated to Refugee Company. Furthermore, all 29 face masks will be on view at Christie’s Amsterdam and can be viewed by appointment weekdays from 10.00am to 5.00pm between 17 and 30 September 2020.

63506877-mOn 28 April 2020, in the midst of the Covid-19 lockdown, RVDK surprised the world with a beautiful statement of hope. At five to midnight, 29 masked models, safe in their own rooms at the Hotel L’Europe in Amsterdam, appeared on their balconies in outer-worldly couture gowns with matching imaginative couture masks, waving white flags as a symbolic plea for sustainability and change.


A memorable moment in time, 29 masks, 29 one-of-a-kind statements that will go down in history as the first of its kind.  Each face mask is intricately crafted by the couture atelier of RVDK and will be offered accompanied by an original framed sketch by the designer. The revenue will go to Refugee Company, a foundation that recently opened Mondmaskerfabriek: the first local face mask factory in The Netherlands.63506877_f

UAE’s Favorite Peruvian Restaurant COYA will Pop-up this November in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia


COYA’s latest pop-up restaurant in Saudi will accommodate 150 patrons and features an outside terrace.

COYA, the internationally celebrated contemporary Peruvian restaurant, is launching its first pop-up in Riyadh Saudi this November with a curated a la carte menu and the expressive works of famed Peruvian photographer, Martin Chambi.coya_riyadh-pop-up-11-copy

The Riyadh pop-up will serve signature favorites that include Atún Chifa ceviche; Arroz Nikkei or famous Chilean seabass cooked in an iron pot; Tacos de Atún or individual tuna tacos with wasabi; Baos con Res Wagyu, a wagyu short rib served in a house-made bao; and Lomo de Res or spicy beef fillet with crispy shallots. As part of the restaurant’s unique, multidimensional dining experience, COYA will be adorning the space with Latin American antiquities recreating the unique atmosphere that exists in each of its worldwide venues. Aiming to bring the true essence of COYA to life, the pop up with also exhibit the photographic work of Martin Chambi, a distinguished photographer from Latin America. Chambi’s photographic style and technique drew heavily from both the European and Pictorialist styles of his era. COYA’s newest pop-up will run for six months and will be located at Oud Square, Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh and will serve the special menu with calorie content on display from Sunday to Wednesday, 4.30 pm to 11.30 pm, and Thursday to Saturday, 1 pm to 11.30 pm from November 1.
