Riyadh’s food scene has been expanding recently with a slew of fresh openings. This year alone, the capital has welcomed SUSHISAMBA at KAFD, Café Kitsune at Laysen Valley, and Akira Back at DQ.

Now, the financial district has opened the uber stylish restaurant, Zuma Riyadh.

The celebrity-hotspot is the first Zuma in the Kingdom and has brought its signature Japanese izakaya experience. Even better, the London-born space is open for lunch and dinner.

So unfurl those bibs and get ready to tuck into generous portions of delicious food. Here is everything to know about the latest opening in Riyadh.

Zuma Riyadh

Founded in 2002 by Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney, Zuma is a network of Japanese eateries that follows the Izakaya style. After working in Tokyo for six years and immersing himself in Japanese cuisine and culture, Becker conceived the concept for the first Zuma restaurant, which opened in London’s Knightsbridge neighborhood. The main kitchen, sushi counter, and robata grill are the three kitchens in the restaurant.

Since then, Zuma has grown internationally, with 14 permanent stores and eight temporary sites in different cities across the globe.

Including Japan, you can enjoy Zuma’s delicious and diverse menu in London, Italy, Spain, and the UAE among others.
