The much anticipated Saudi National Day is finally here and what better way to celebrate it than to visit the spectacular sites in the city.

From fireworks and performances to food stalls and Bazaars, the Kingdom has arranged various events and activities to look forward to. We at Destination, have prepared a list of must visits in Jeddah for the upcoming weekend and here is where you should be headed. 

Jeddah Corniche Waterfront 

Whether it’s during the weekdays, or weekends, Jeddah’s corniche waterfront is a people’s favorite to visit during their free time. With various events taking place throughout the year, the waterfront is always chosen to hold some kind of special event, and this time, for the much anticipated Saudi National Day, an exciting Air Show is taking place from throughout the weekend till the 27th of September.

Jeddah Art Promenade

Amongst the streets of Jeddah and close to the famous F1 circuit, Jeddah Art Promenade is as its name suggests, a street lined with colorful art, different shops and simply a fun and easy going vibes. With many events taking place throughout the year at the Promenade, this Saudi National day they will be hosting a remarkable Fireworks show, a Saudi Folklore Performance, and a Royal Guard March all on the 23rd September.

Jeddah Yacht Club 

The city’s favorite Marina, whether it’s during the day or the night hours, the Yacht Club has won the hearts of many, with a line of astounding restaurants and a beautiful walking path that runs along the sea. It is a must visit for this weekend, as they will be celebrating the Saudi National Day with various events being hosted and the Royal Guard March taking place.

Al Balad – The Historical City

Looking to go on a cultural and traditional endeavor this weekend for Saudi National Day? Look no further. Jeddah’s Historical City – Al Balad, awaits its visitors, as it has prepared a number of different functions for the National Day. From stalls, games and different performances, to an exciting competitive competition of Karrom, Al Balad is a must visit this weekend.

Mohammed Abdu Concert

Events, activities and performances, Saudi National Day has so much in store for the Kingdom’s people. An important event to take note of, and save onto your calendar is the upcoming Mohammed Abdu performance taking place on the 22nd of September at the extravagant Jeddah Superdome. Grab a friend or family member and enjoy a day filled with never ending fun and an easy going atmosphere.
