The Diriyah Biennale Foundation is proud to present the inaugural edition of the PaperBack – Art Book Fair, taking place at the JAX District in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

The PaperBack – Art Book Fair is a cultural and creative gathering that brings together professionals, collectors, enthusiasts, and curious minds to the JAX District. Taking place between November 1–3, 2024, the fair features 25 artists and collectives, independent presses, booksellers, zine makers, publishers, cultural organizations, and academic institutions. Participants come from 16 countries including China, Egypt, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

Participants include Brownbook magazine, a leading cultural platform from the Gulf; the Cairo Art Book Fair; Set Margins’ publications from the Netherlands; 51 Personae, a collective publishing project from China; Kaph Books from Lebanon, which specializes in art books from the Arab world; and the online photo/artbook shop shashasha from Japan.
