Roads of Arabia is an exhibition that has brought the attention of the western world to the Arabian Peninsula’s rich history.
Featuring more than 200 objects, ranging from stone tools dating back to millions of years to a 17th century set of gilded doors that once adorned the entrance to the Ka’aba – the exhibition has sparked interest worldwide.
The exhibition has already traveled around the world to places like Paris, Barcelona, St.Petersburg, Berlin and in the beginning of 2015 Roads of Arabia was hosted by the Asian Arts Museum in San Francisco.
What’s remarkable about this exhibition is that it highlights the cultural interactions that occurred between Arabia and its neighbors – the artifacts on display testify to that. Take a look for yourself.
