Saud Abdulrahman, a dedicated golf player who holds together his passion for sport and labor market, is one of the prominent participants in the edition of Saudi Games in 2024, he’s 31 years old, where he built his successful career in the insurance sector.

Recently, Saud joined Bupa Arabia company as the first Relations Manager in institutional sales. But this wasn’t enough regarding his ambitions, he’s also a dedicated golf player and he represents Bupa Arabia company in the edition of Saudi Games for this year.

Saud’s professional success and his diplomatic roots

Saud was raised in a diplomatic family, in which his father and elder sister were ambassadors. As a result of that Saud lived for more than 20 years in New York before coming back to settle in his beloved country in 2017, interested in contributing to the pursuit of the kingdom’s vision of 2030, which aims to the diversity of economy as well as enhancing medical and sports sectors.

Saud got his degree in Business Administration from the University of Manhattanville, which helped him in choosing the insurance sector after that to help people, Saud started his career in 2017 as an underwriter manager in Buruj Cooperative company, and then became a technical manager in  Saisi Insurance Brokerage Company , in which he helped in building the company’s existence in the Saudi market and secured existing clients such as Kering and Loreal Group, and with the beginning of 2024 Saud joined Bupa Arabia with the goal of enhancing the medical care sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in accordance with the vision of 2030.

Saud’s path to golf

Despite the fact that Saud’s professional career and path is clear, his journey in the world of golf is not less important than his career journey. Saud started playing golf in 2017 and his passion grew rapidly in it. In 2018, the Saudi Union for golf invited him to join the national team, to have a big role in contributing to the promotion of golf in the kingdom. In 2019, he participated in the Professional – Amateur Championship and it’s the first international golf championship held in King Abdullah financial region, and it was one of the most important events in his sports route.

Saud’s participation in the Saudi games wasn’t a challenge for him, but it was a new opportunity for him to show his skill and passion in developing himself despite his preoccupation in professional life. Saud expressed his participation in the edition saying: “that he is always challenging himself to be the best, and he reported his profound gratitude for the big support of Bupa Arabia and for providing the requirements that he needs to achieve the balance between his professional commitments and his love for golf.”
