Riyadh Season is right around the corner this year and we’re so looking forward to it! Here’s everything you need to know.
Riyadh Season is an annual entertainment and culture festival that spans several months, and this year, it’s stepping in with more experiences than ever before. With 14 zones, both old and new, containing segments and activities like standup comedy shows, concerts to dining experiences at restaurants from all over the world. Join us as we guide you through this annual festive season.
Zone 1: Boulevard World
Starting January 1st, you can explore the various countries inside Boulevard World, including Saudi Arabia, Africa, Courchevel, Iran, Turkey, and so much more.
A highlight of the space is that it will host the world’s largest dinosaur skeleton.

Some of the experiences we’re excited about are:
- Superfly: Here you can defy gravity and fly.
- BLVD Luxurious Forest: Thread through the forest and witness the rare animals on view.
- Laser Tag: Bring your friends to a battle of laser tag.
- The Island of the Dolls: Dare to adventure through an island haunted by deformed dolls.
Zone 2: Boulevard City
At the heart of Riyadh Season, Boulevard City includes a great deal of entertainment, including the Warner Bro. Studies! Don’t miss out on the gardens, dancing fountains, cafes, local and global restaurants and brands, and various artistic performances. Go here to experience solving mysteries with Detective Conan and escape from the horrors of Five Nights at Freddy’s.
It first begins on the 28th of October, from 4 pm to 3 am.
Zone 3: BLVD Runway
Be the captain of your own role-playing journey in an unparalleled opportunity to explore a built-to-size runway and a Boeing 777 aircraft. Open from 4 pm to 3 am, you can even enjoy dining in the aircraft or from the control tower. Stay tuned for more information!
Zone 4: The Venue
Armed with the latest audiovisual technology, The Venue can accommodate 8,000 people and will host 7 unforgettable performances, such as:
- The Six King Slam: A tennis tournament with the top six tennis players globally.
- One Thousand and One Seasons: A grand fashion event featuring famous designer Elie Saab
- Latin Night
- The Fifth Annual Joy Awards: A ceremony honoring the Arab World’s entertainment industry leaders.
- The Power Slap Challenge: Exactly as it sounds, two contestants power slap the other to win the game.
- The Effie Awards: A ceremony recognizing the most transformative marketing efforts in the Middle East and North Africa.
- The WWE Crown Jewel: This will be held on November 2nd.
The Venue is open from 4:00 pm to 3:00 am, starting October 28.
Zone 5: Kingdom Arena
Go to the Kingdom Arena to see a clashing of worlds! Artists and athletes from all over the world will come together, holding concerts to world championships.

Zone 6: Wonder Garden
Immerse yourself in a beautiful and whimsical garden-themed amusement park, where the fluttering butterflies in the Butterfly House can greet you and bid you farewell as you head to the Farm, an isolated farm where Farmer William develops a poison capable of destroying humanity.
Starting from the 15th of November, it is open from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.
Zone 7: Riyadh Zoo
Bigger than ever, the Riyadh Zoo welcomes its guests to explore 6 subzones, all containing different animals and experiences.
A quick look at the zone
- The Farm Experience, where you can pet and interact with the animals
- The Lion Experience
- The House of Pongos
- The Owl House: Visit the dark room the owls reside in
- Feeding elephants, kangaroos, monkeys, and tigers
- The Red Panda Experience, where you can see the endangered red panda in all its beauty
- The Garden, which is a park area that overlooks calm waters.

Zone 8: Dior Museum
Hosted at Al Murabaa National Museum, the Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibit will showcase over 500 archived couture dresses. Awaiting you will also be a pop-up Dior Cafe and souvenir shop.
Starting from 4:00 pm to 3:00 am, it will first open its doors on October 28.
Zone 9: VIA Riyadh
Enter a hub of luxury at VIA Riyadh, where— designed in the Salami Style— you can explore St. Regis Riyadh, a five-star, lavish hotel, a luxury cinema, and exclusive boutiques, including Dolce and Gabbana, Zegna, Aesop, and Ash. You can also indulge in restaurants and cafes, such as Joans on Third, Scott’s, Cafe Elle, and Spago, to your hearts’ content.
It opens its doors on October 28, 12 pm till 3 am everyday.
Zone 10: Dunes of Arabia
In the Dunes of Arabia, you can enchant yourself within the richness of Saudi culture and the desert. In the heritage area, you can immerse yourself in the traditional Arabian music, accompanied by traditional food and folklore. You can ride a camel, camp, and try your hand at dune drifting and archery.
Starting January 1
Zone 11: The Groves
The all too familiar The Groves is back on October 28, returning in a new venue as a permanent fixture. Immerse yourself in the world of Little Krazy, Vidavera, Zama Zulu, and the Groves Lake. It is open from 5:30 pm to 3:00 am.
Zone 12: Al Suwaidi Park
Al Suwaidi Park allows you to journey through various cultures— from traditional foods, music, dances, and handicrafts. It features 8 countries and cultures for over 45 days, from Pakistan, India, the Philippines, Egypt, Yemen, and many more.
It opens from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am and starts on the 29th of October.
Zone 13: Souq Al Awaleen
This souq encompasses various traditional markets that bring the Kingdom’s rich culture and heritage to life. Each market offers something unique, from traditional attire to traditional food.
Whereas last year there was the Najdi Horror House, where you can experience a Najdi wedding mixed with a touch of horror, this year you can visit a variety of haunted houses inspired by Saudi legends as well as the Little Ones’ Shop, which include several workshops and interactive games.
Zone 14: Al Hosn Studios Riyadh Seasons
Curious about the behind-the-scenes of film-making? Make sure to visit the Al Hosn Studios, where you can see the entire process from script-writing and editing to sound management and graphics creation.
It is open for 24 hours from the first of January.
