The Saudi city is gearing up to host the inaugural Riyadh Music Week. The nine-day extravaganza is set to cover music, culture, and innovation.
Starting later this week, the celebration is a collaboration between the brains behind Soundstorm and Balad Beast MDLBEAST and SRMG.
What’s more, you will be zipping around all over Riyadh to bopping concerts and jaw-dropping award shows for the week.

Riyadh Music Week 2024
Riyadh Music Week is all about highlighting the Kingdom’s growing music sector. It will host multiple events that will spotlight the creative and commercial evolution of the capital’s music scene. There will also be talks about music policy and development along with different kinds of workshops.

XP Music Futures
Back for the fourth time, XP Music Futures is expected to bring together local and international musicians, business people, and music lovers for a special fusion of seminars, workshops, and networking opportunities. Through the exchange of information and expertise, the annual three-day event seeks to promote the development of the local music business while showcasing Saudi’s varied musical terrain.

Riyadh Music Cities Convention and Music Cities Awards
The Music Cities Awards will honor and recognize outstanding music initiatives that promote cultural, social, economic, and environmental advancement in cities across the globe. Since its launch in 2020, the MCA has developed into a global venue for creative initiatives that use music to effect social change. As part of the music week, the 2024 Award Ceremony will take place in Riyadh on December 8. Awards like Best Global Music City, Best Music Tourism Initiative, and Best Initiative Using Music to Improve Health and Wellbeing are among the nomination categories.

Billboard Arabia Awards
Music fans, note December 11 on your calendars because this will be the first-ever Billboard Arabia Music Awards. The awards, which will be held at the King Fahad Cultural Centre in Riyadh, will honor and recognize both established and up-and-coming talent. It will also recognize the success of the region’s leading musicians and reveal the year’s most popular songs and other noteworthy accomplishments. The winners will be chosen based on their performance on Billboard Arabia’s charts, which include the Hot 100, Artist 100, and language and genre-specific rankings, in contrast to traditional music award presentations.

MDLBEAST Soundstorm
Considered to be the loudest weekend in Riyadh, MDLBEAST Soundstorm is preparing for an awesome return. The annual music festival takes over Banban for three nights and brings chart-busting international artists to the Saudi stage. This year, the festival is set to welcome Linkin Park, The Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, and the Real Slimy Shady himself EMINEM.

Riyadh things to do
The end of the year is backed in the capital with Riyadh Season doing massive events like the Dog Festival and the Harry Potter experience.
