Saudi filmmaker Meshal Aljaser’s suspense thriller “NAGA” stepped into the Arab world with a star-studded premiere at the Red Sea Film Festival, following its notable success at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The eagerly awaited event turned heads with a full house, welcoming over 1000 attendees, comprising industry stalwarts, media personnel, and prominent local talents like Fatima Albanawi and Summer Shesha.
On the glamorous red carpet, director Meshal Aljaser, lead actress Adwa Bader (a standout in TIFF’s Rising Stars program), and Yazeed Almajyul were among the notable personalities. The film’s gripping narrative revolves around Sarah, portrayed by Adwa Bader, as she finds herself stranded amidst the desert dunes of Riyadh after a date gone awry, facing the unexpected wrath of a furious camel due to a chance encounter with its young offspring.
With its global release slated for December 7, 2023, “NAGA” is set to captivate audiences in 190 countries, promising an intense and unforgettable cinematic experience.
