Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving, devoted parents. He is the eldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her divine grace to her son at a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry is supported by the entire family. His brother Reverend Ken is the highly regarded pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The church operates two Healing Schools located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions during which the power of God is demonstrated.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral aspect of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is supervised and trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these singers are successful in their solo career.

The Man of God founded NGOs to offer essential services and provide hope to the needy, poor and uninformed. Chris Oyakhilome Family COFI is a partnership with five other organizations who have a common goal of raising the standard of living in the areas that are the least developed.

COFI manages the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children The Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve the wellbeing, health, and spirits, especially those who are most vulnerable.
