Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born in December 63 in Edo State. He was nurtured by his parents who were devoted to him. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her faith in God’s grace upon her son at an early age.

Chris Oyakhilome Biography Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known in the present as Ambrose Ali University, where He earned a BSc in Architecture. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. He is also an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he got his calling from God to go into the ministry and become an ambassador for the Lord.

A small prayer group known as Youth for Christ’ was established. It would develop to become one of the largest and most admired groups at the university.
