Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household of faith, supported by loving and devoted parents. He was the oldest of four children born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the mother of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her divine grace upon her son from a young age.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with an BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where the Lord called him to serve the Lord and become a minister.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.
