Pastor, faith healer, author, and television host, Chris Oyakhilome is known to his fans as Pastor Chris, is the president and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, based in Lagos, Nigeria. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, nurtured by a family of faith and was supported by his parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her divine grace upon her son at an early age.

The whole family is actively involved with the LoveWorld ministry. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several top-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two children: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father’s lead of sharing God’s Word with all people. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a gifted gospel singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

When he was still in university, the Man of God created what would become one of the biggest churches in the world. He began an informal prayer group called “Youth for Christ” which would grow into the most popular organisation of its type on campus. This was also the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated which has millions of followers across the globe.

The LoveWorld ministry was founded under the leadership of Pastor Chris. It is a leader in satellite TV, Christian TV production and programming. Oyakhilome LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast out of Africa to the rest of the world, 24 hours a day, all the time on free-to-air channels. Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The ministry operates two Healing Schools located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris organizes sessions during the season that allow miraculous events to occur.

Music and Gospel Music are an important element of the worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir in their training. A lot of these singing artists are soloists who have achieved success under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s supervision.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is a non-profit organization that aims to continue the inspiring work of Pastor Chris. COFI is responsible for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and as well as the Bible For All Mission.
