Nahdi Pharmacies are promoting Saudi made medical products.
The wellness brand recently pledged to stock more Made in Saudi products.
The pharmacy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Exports Development Authority on Wednesday, September 18. The signing was done by Eng. Abdulrahman Althkair, CEO of the Saudi Exports Development Authority and Eng. Yasser Joharji, CEO of Nahdi Medical Company at the Fatimah Umm Al Baha branch in Al Olaya.
A leader in the Saudi pharmacy retail sector, Nahdi also unveiled the first-ever shelves exclusively dedicated to Saudi national products at the signing. These shelves, which come under the ‘Made in Saudi’ brand, are dedicated to high-quality locally made health-related products and medical supplies.
Nahdi recognizes the importance of providing Saudi products and making them more accessible. These dedicated shelves will help improve awareness about the products’ quality, which is on par with global brands.
When speaking about the signing, Althakair said “This partnership reflects our
ongoing commitment of supporting economic diversification and contributing to achieving the
Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by empowering Saudi products locally and enhancing their exports
globally.”
Numerous national healthcare projects have commenced with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two bodies.
Through this agreement, the pharmaceutical, medical supply, and health product businesses will be able to localize and increase the availability of their products in retail locations both inside and beyond the Kingdom.
The partnership also concentrates on raising consumer knowledge of the excellence of Saudi-made goods through cooperative projects, such as training courses, workshops about the “Made in Saudi” initiative, and involvement in exhibitions and events.
These initiatives will support national economic growth and improve how Saudi goods and services are seen both domestically and abroad.
