Life’s a Beach!

Life’s a Beach!

You have to check out Jubail’s booming beach scene.

I’m just going to go ahead and say it: Jubail is the Malibu of Saudi Arabia. This city offers the country’s best coastlines overlooking the Arabian Gulf, along with a relaxed, chilled ambiance, making it deserving of being called a beach city.

Overlooking the Arabian Gulf, Jubail’s beaches boast blue waters, powdery white sands, vast green spaces, various children’s activities, mosques, cafes and restaurants and an overall feeling of happy holiday vibes.

The absence of strong sea currents make the beaches suitable for swimming and other water sports such as sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing and fishing. All of the beaches and parks are well-maintained and staffed by lifeguards, making the beaches safe for swimming.

While there are a few restaurants serving local delicacies, most of the famous American fast food chains and fine dining restaurants are situated around the beaches.

Fanateer Beach

Water skiing, fishing, boating and other water sports competitions in addition to seasonal festivals are held here. Meanwhile, fitness enthusiasts will love the vast spaces and walkways to workout, walk, jog, run and cycle throughout.

There’s even a special area allocated for children with special needs that includes various games and special calisthenics devices designed to develop their skills and strengthen their bodies. The area is equipped with guiding boards, glider umbrellas, rubber floors and borders to support and protect children while playing.

Nakheel Beach

The lush greenery and sparkling white sand of Nakheel Beach make this place stand out from the rest. Located on Road 6, Jubail Industrial City, it’s an excellent spot to swim, siesta and have a tasty barbecue. It’s equipped with basketball courts, clean toilets, changing rooms and all the necessary services. A colorful flower festival held every year turns it into one big, beautiful flower bouquet.
