Lang Lang, the globally known pianist, recently took center stage at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Saudi Arabia, presenting an exclusive Disney-themed musical extravaganza. This exciting performance, a part of a limited series spanning 10 global shows, stood out as the sole representation of its kind in the Middle East, drawing an impressive crowd of over 2,000 attendees.
The audience experienced Lang Lang’s amazing renditions of beautiful melodies from Disney animated classics such as “Frozen,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Encanto.” Lang Lang’s artistry turned the venue into a breathtaking scene, captivating attendees through an immersive musical journey. Attendees watched the performance in the Ithra Theater, while others gathered in the picturesque Ithra Gardens to enjoy the live-streamed show. Both groups were equally captivated by the enchanting performance.
Lang Lang performed alongside the Beethoven Academy Orchestra conducted by Edwin Outwater, joined by a group of international artists including Gina Alice from Germany, Pablo Garcia-Lopez from Spain, Plinio Fernandes from Brazil, Guo Gan from China, and Saudi Arabia’s Loulwa Al-Sharif. Together, they made the evening truly memorable.
