Akiba Dori, Dubai’s favorite Japanese street-food restaurant is proud to announce the launch of its second international outpost in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Located within the stunning Boulevard Riyadh City; foodies are invited to discover Akiba Dori for the first time in Riyadh. Located in the Boulevard’s Tracadero zone, the interiors show off the signature Akiba styling, inspired by the colourful and vibrant streets of Japan, with hues of flashy reds and luminous greens, complimented by the backdrop of neon lights and chill synthwave and lo-fi hip-hop tunes, paying tribute to the style and street culture of Akihabara. The restaurant offers a seating capacity of 94 pax within its indoor dining space, facing the Boulevard.
From the menu, diners will explore a selection of classic Japanese street-food dishes including a range of sushi, Japanese curries, sando’s, sliders, gyozas, desserts and more. Each offering on the menu represents the culinary traditions of Japanese street-food, reimagined in Akiba Dori-style.
Highlights from the street-food menu include fan favorites such as the; Akiba Rock Shrimps, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside shrimps, glazed with Akiba’s secret spicy mayo sauce. From the sushi menu, the Wagyu Truffle Maki offers a top serving of Grade-A wagyu rolled sushi topped with the house sauce.
Mains call for the legendary comfort-food, Chicken Katsu Curry, plating a generous serving of Akiba’s creamy, rich and aromatic chicken katsu curry with a side of Japanese rice. To finish, the Lotus Cheesecake will be a must try; Akiba’s homemade super-soft cheesecake, topped with lotus sauce and lotus crumbs.
These dishes among a large selection of other delicious numbers promises to have guests coming back for more from the street-food menu.
For the pizza lovers, Akiba Dori brings its unique Tokyo-style Neapolitan Pizzas, that are prepared in a Japanese wood-fire oven, using Japanese dough, topped with Neapolitan ingredients – blending the two styles to bring diners a true Tokyo-style Neapolitan pizza.
