After the resounding success of the Esports World Cup earlier this year, Riyadh is now all set to host the FIFAe finals in December.
The sporty event is a collaboration between FIFAe and Saudi Esports Federation and is an esports world cup hosted by FIFA.
After the inaugural FIFAe Next Gen event in Liverpool, the finals are now coming to the Kingdom this week.

FIFAe Finals 2024
The FIFAe World Cup is a series of esport competitions organized by FIFA, formerly known as the FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC) and the FIFA eWorld Cup. The competitions took place on the most recent version of the FIFA association football video game series from the beginning until 2023. Guinness World Records named the FIWC the largest online esports game because of the tournament’s open qualifying style, which attracted millions of players to the first online stages.
FIFAe Finals location
The exciting week-long event is set to come to the Saudi capital for the first time since inception. The tournament will be held at the SEF Arena at Boulevard City. If you start seeing iconic landmarks like the pyramids of Giza, you have gone too far and are about to enter Boulevard World.

A week of footie celebration, the finals were start from Thursday, December 5 and end on Thursday, December 12.

The tournament is open to the public and you and your friends can just walk-in, no tickets or registration required. However, if you wish to get good seats for some of the more important dates, you can pre-register via Google forms.

There are three major matches that you need to keep an eye out for.
Rocket League
Rocket League is car-based game where you play football in cars. That’s right, the game has you controlling an entire car instead of a player as you maneuver across the field and push the ball into the net.
Over the course of four days, 16 national teams compete in a high-stakes Rocket League event. Teams compete through tough matches in a group stage and knockout round to win the title of world champion and national pride. Only one country can win the title following this fierce competition, which includes best-of-2 and best-of-7 phases.

18 nations engage in 2v2 matches in this competition in an attempt to win. Teams compete for a spot in the single-elimination knockout stages by earning points in the group stage. It enhances the mobile eFootball™ competition as part of the larger FIFAe ecosystem by demonstrating cooperation and national representation.

Similar to its console counterpart, this mobile tournament 1v1 battle places an emphasis on individual skill. Sixteen countries participate in group and knockout stages, earning points according on the outcomes of their matches. Similar to the console format, one mobile player will be named the winner of the FIFAe World Cup 2024™ featuring eFootball™-Mobile.

The FIFAe World Cup with Rocket League will have a USD 250,000 prize fund. In the meanwhile, the prize pools for the console and mobile eFootballTM competitions total USD 100,000. This raises the FIFAe Finals 2024 prize money to an astounding USD 450,000.
