The Women’s Tennis Association finals are set to be held in Riyadh once again and the our excitement is soaring. The high-octane tennis matches will feature some of the world’s best female tennis players settling professional scores on the Saudi turf.
Part of a fresh agreement between the WTA and the Saudi Tennis Federation, the finals of the Hologic WTA Tour will take place in Riyadh for three years with 2024 marking the beginning.
What’s more, the winners will walk away with a giant prize pool.
Enough preamble. Here is everything you need to know before the November event.
WTA Finals 2025
The Women’s Tennis Association’s season-ending competition, the WTA Finals, features the top-ranked singles players and doubles teams according to their annual performance. Players are split into two groups for the round-robin singles competition. Each group’s top two players move on to the semifinals, which are followed by the championship match. The doubles have a similar structure.
The event is a collaboration between the Women’s Tennis Federation, the Saudi Tennis Federation, and the Ministry of Sport.
Last year, American Tennis superstar Coco Gruff won the Singles championship while Doubles was claimed by the dynamic New Zealand-Canadian duo Erin Routliffe and Gabriela Dabrowski.
WTA Finals 2025 location
The official location for the 2025 showdown has not been revealed yet. The 2024 edition was held at the sprawling King Saud University’s freshly built indoor court.

WTA Finals 2025 activities
All ticket holders in 2024 were able to enjoy the interactive games and activities in the bopping fan zone. They also participated in coaching sessions with professional coaches from the Saudi Tennis Federation. No sporting is complete with a cookout and the gourmet food stalls and refreshments in the fan zone had been erected to keep your energy up.
You can expect similar awesomeness for th 2025 version.
