Riyadh Season has been upping the ante since it’s opening night back in October, 2024 when Oleksandr Usyk traded punches with Tyson Fury.
The Season has been bringing a tonne of exciting sporting events including Six Kings Slam, one of Roger Federer’s last international games before retirement, UFC Fight Night and Power Slap along with WWE and RAW.
Now, Riyadh Season is doing the first-ever WBC Boxing Grand Prix.
The knockout event was announced by the official Instagram page of Riyadh Season in collaboration with the WBC Instagram account.
The tournament aims to discover the next generation of boxing stars. It will be divided into five events.
While not much about the tournament has been revealed yet, here is everything that we do know.
WBC Boxing Grand Prix

The World Boxing Council (WBC)’s Boxing Grand Prix is here. The exciting tournament will feature five events with 128 boxers battling for glory.
41 nations will be participating and four weight classes will be competing.
The Grand Prix will start with quarterfinals, featuring eight-round fights. The finals will be scheduled to ten rounds.

The official venue for the five bouts in Saudi Arabia have not been announced yet. Keep checking with Destination KSA to learn when they do.

- Age Limit: 26 years old
- Record: No more than 15 professional bouts
- Weight Divisions: Featherweight, Super Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight.
