Visit Qatar has officially unveiled the unified Qatar calendar 2025–2026, a comprehensive national events platform designed to unify and showcase the country’s dynamic line-up of cultural, sporting, and entertainment events. The announcement event, attended by His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth, marked a milestone moment in Qatar’s tourism and events landscape.

The new unified Qatar calendar consolidates all national events under one framework, reinforcing collaboration between public and private sectors to enhance visitor experience and drive tourism growth. By providing a single reference point for residents and visitors, the calendar positions Qatar as a year-round destination for world-class events while supporting economic development in the hospitality and retail sectors.
His Excellency Mr. Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Chair of the Board of Directors of Visit Qatar, highlighted the significance of this launch, stating:
He added that the unified Qatar calendar brings diversity, spanning sports, culture, entertainment, and family activities, underscores Qatar’s ambition to diversify its tourism offerings and strengthen its global standing, aligning with the Third National Development Strategy (2024–2030) to expand tourism’s contribution to GDP.
“The Qatar Calendar 2025/2026 represents a significant milestone in advancing our tourism sector. It reflects the strength of our national institutions and the value of collaboration between government and private sector partners, reaffirming our commitment to delivering an exceptional and integrated experience for residents and visitors alike.”
He added that the calendar’s diversity – spanning sports, culture, entertainment, and family activities – underscores Qatar’s ambition to diversify its tourism offerings and strengthen its global standing, aligning with the Third National Development Strategy (2024–2030) to expand tourism’s contribution to GDP.
